We can say without reservation that this month’s ‘Structures’ photography contest has been one of our favourites. Looking at the complexity of the buildings and architecture around us, it is certainly clear all over the world we are surrounded by the most beautiful buildings.
The response to our Structures competition brief has been outstanding. From the quality of technique to in-depth detail of composition, it’s safe to say we have been majorly impressed.
We’ve been watching your votes closely over this last week to see who would take those sought-after winner’s spots. Deliberating long and hard and taking into account your vital votes and our judge’s critiques we’re pleased to say we’ve chosen the top 3 finalists!
Without further ado the winner of our Structures contest is Nishant Bhaskar who takes first place for his stunning shot entitled ‘Humayun’s Tomb.’
Not only did Nishant receive 145 public votes but the judges were also extremely impressed with the exposure, composition and overall technique that Nishant has displayed with this photograph. Your $500 Amazon gift voucher will be landing with you very soon!
Our first runner up is Sudirmanto Muchtar who showed his true photography skills with this photo ‘Gentala Arsay – Jambi Pedestrain Bridge.’
The aspect that particularly wowed the judging was how Sudirmanto used the lighting to capture such a beautiful photo. We’ll be sending your $300 Amazon gift voucher out to you momentarily.
When it came to choosing our third prizewinner it was just too close to call. Breaking tradition we have two winners who will be taking a slice of the prize. First up is Hendi Syarifuddin with this excellent low angle photo ‘Plane Between Skyscrapers.’
Hendi showed his photography finesse when he was able to capture this in action shot. Your $100 Amazon gift voucher will be winging its way to you any minute now. We’ll also be sending a $100 Amazon gift voucher to Froi Rivera for this excellent low light photo ‘Simian Light House.’ The attention to detail here is second to none.
Our remaining finalists won’t go home empty handed this time, we’ll be sharing 20 gold tokens with each of you!
